Best wishes and stay safe, All the volunteers at Nettlebed Folk Club. Nettlebed Folk Club is an Affiliated Club (No.29523U3) of the English Folk Dance and Song Society. |
Nettlebed Folk Club was started by a group of folk song lovers from Maidenhead in Berkshire when the tenant of a local public house moved to Nettlebed in Oxfordshire. Although starting in a tiny 40 seater bar the Club quickly established itself as a popular venue. The Club is a volunteer run, non profit organisation and takes about a dozen people to keep it running smoothly! The acts that are staged encompass the different types of mainly traditional music and song from the British Isles. Our Patron is Phil Beer and we also have regular performers including Bruce Gomersall and Terry Page.
